As we have entered the Holiday season many people begin to experience increased anxiety. Perhaps you struggle with time stress, financial challenges, or relationship issues. This is the time of year I find mindfulness to be of extreme benefit.

Here are just a few tips:

  1. Be present- The only time you have to live your life is right NOW, in this moment with this breath. When we live in the future we tend to become anxious.
  2. Breath - Right NOW, take several deep breaths. Now come to normal breathing and experience the body as it breathes. Invite yourself to return to your true nature.
  3. Gently smile to yourself ....     :)
  4. Simplifiy all the things you 'think' you 'should' be doing and instead choose to do the ones that are most meaningful and feel nurturing.
